About us

Aesthetics with restraint

Velora Dental is a small practice in Vračar where aesthetic dentistry is done slowly and thoughtfully. We care about how teeth look within a face, not only in a close-up mirror.

Treatments

Treatments for a natural, balanced smile

From an examination with smile analysis to veneers, aligners and metal-free crowns: we plan every treatment as part of the whole, around your face and the condition of your teeth.

Experiences

How patients experienced the process

They show what patients typically talk about: the trial smile, honest explanations and time to decide.

I thought I wanted bigger, whiter teeth, but once I saw them as a trial in my mouth I realised they did not suit me. We changed the design twice before anything was prepared, and now nobody notices the veneers; people just say I look rested.

Tamara L.27 March 2026

I came in just for whitening, and at the examination they explained that two old fillings at the front would not change colour. We replaced them first and then whitened. The sensitivity lasted two days, exactly as they said it might.

Nikola S.8 May 2026

I asked for veneers because of my crooked lower teeth, and the orthodontist suggested aligners instead. It took several months and some discipline, but nothing had to be ground down, and in the end whitening was all I needed.

FAQ

The questions you ask us most

Answers about veneers, whitening, aligners, payment and travelling from abroad. For your own situation, the answer always depends on an examination.

Whitening, composite veneers and mock-ups usually need no anaesthetic, and most patients find the main discomfort is keeping their mouth open for a while. When teeth are prepared for ceramic veneers or crowns we work under local anaesthetic, so you usually feel pressure rather than pain. Temporary sensitivity is possible afterwards, depending on the procedure and the condition of the teeth.

From analysis to bonding usually takes two to four weeks, with three or four visits: analysis and mock-up, preparation and impression, then try-in and bonding. If whitening, treatment or tooth straightening is needed first, the overall plan takes longer. You receive the exact schedule after the examination.

Composite veneers are usually done with no or very little preparation. Ceramic veneers usually need minimal preparation of the enamel, the extent of which is set by the design and tooth position rather than a fixed amount. When the teeth are unfavourably positioned, we sometimes suggest moving them with aligners first, so that less or no preparation is needed.

Composite is more affordable, is often done in a single visit and is easy to repair, but over time it can lose its lustre and change colour. Ceramic keeps its colour and surface longer and imitates the translucency of enamel more closely, but needs more visits and a larger initial investment. The choice depends on your bite, the number of teeth, your expectations and budget, and we make it together after the examination.
